Senior Fullstack Developer (React/Node.js)

We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Halifax. Our team is focused on digital platforms, creating world-class analytics products. What will you do?

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Python to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the stack.

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, ensuring scalable and efficient deployment of applications.

• Apply analytical thinking to solve complex problems, optimize performance, and enhance the user experience.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

• Cross-train team members to mitigate key man risks and ensure adequate coverage across all areas of the development process.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.

• Minimum 2+ years experience in React.js, Next.js, Node.js.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Experience working with technical teams and different stakeholders (Developers/Quality Engineers/Business Analysts).

• Strong data and analytics background.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry or knowledge of capital markets and electronic trading flows.

• Familiarity with test case design at different levels (component/service, integration, end-to-end/user scenarios) or non-functional testing.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience in Python or Java.
