About the role

  • The CS (Combat System) Functional Integration Architect will be responsible for the definition, implementation, and management of a new MBE framework to support IT&E (Integration, Test and Evaluation) efforts for CSC.
  • This will include system maturity metrics (i.e. TRL, IRL, and SRL), integration of the Test and Evaluation events into the model, projections of TRL/IRL/SRL over time for the DCS and DCS/FMS integration scope of supply, defect tracing to model elements, all resulting in extraction of the Functional Integration Plan from the model through to TRL/IRL/SRL 8.
  • This role will work collaboratively with the IT&E team and peer organizations such as the CTI SW team, SEIT, etc. to ensure alignment of all CSC activities as they relate to IT&E MBE efforts.
  • This role will be responsible for ensuring the totality of T&E events planned are sufficient for design coverage and that schedule risks for maturation are identified, communicated, and mitigated appropriately.
  • This role will be responsible for the management of the cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the scope of work.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Definition, development, implementation, and management of the CSC IT&E Model Based Engineering framework.
  • Oversight and coordination with the CSC IT&E team and supporting organizations for the data management in the model for the IT&E MBE framework.
  • Statusing of the IT&E Functional Integration MBE metrics and projections.
  • Management, leadership and oversight of a team of 2-3 staff

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and/or combination of experience
  • 3+ years of related technical experience
  • Systems integration planning experience
  • MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) experience
  • Experience with CAMEO
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Demonstrate an honest, open, respectful, team oriented, positive attitude
  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead through change and ambiguous circumstances

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Detailed knowledge of I&T processes
  • Agile work environment experience
  • Common office administrative software tools experience (Microsoft Office products)
  • Planning and scheduling experience (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera).
  • Ability to work Overtime when required
