In keeping with our One Company IT Strategy, your role as an IT Manager of Data and Integrations is responsible for managing the development and support of integration services, ensuring they’re delivering value for our company. You’ll do this, by leading your team of nine developers, through stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, resource management, and production planning using the DevOps framework.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nine integration developers, supported by two architects, to develop, deploy and remediate data and application integrations using the Talend platform.

  • Mitigate risk and operational downtime by focusing on permanent fixes to break-fix incidents.

  • Manage both operational and project responsibilities.

  • Become an expert in our IT Management Framework; our policies and procedures supporting Change Management, Incident Response, Security Management, etc.

  • Lead the effort to mature our development process, focused on increased adoption of Azure DevOps.

  • Engage in vendor management activities, based on the strategic and critical nature of the solution.

  • Manage the human resource elements/people development processes for the team.

Your skills:

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task when dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proven ability to meet hard deadlines.

  • Strong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Teams.

Your experience:

  • 10-15 years’ work experience.

  • Experience leading development teams using DevOps / Proven experience in application and data integrations development.

  • Experience with an integrations suite like Talend or Mule Soft.

  • Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.

  • Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.

  • Strong knowledge of software evaluation principles and practices.

  • Proven project planning and management experience.

  • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Superior written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required.
