We are looking for a Salesforce and Technology Specialist to focus on the development, implementation, and support of applications built on the Salesforce platform. In this role you will combine technical & business skills with detailed knowledge of CRM processes to deliver and support application solutions. We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interact with internal groups, stakeholders, and sometimes external vendors to support enhancements, fixes and deliver second level support to our front line.
• Work with end users, IT teams, and the Senior Salesforce Analyst to prioritize and facilitate the resolution of issues, including escalations to vendors when necessary
• Work with the IT Application support team to develop and support operational processes, such as user/profile creation and modification, bulk data loads, etc.
• Work with Manager of IT Development to develop and support processes that ensure efficient and successful change management between all Salesforce environments (e.g. Dev, QA, Prod)
• Work hands-on to configure, develop, and support all aspects of the Salesforce Clouds (CRM, Marketing Cloud, Field Service and other integrations such as Zuora manage package, AskNicely, etc) following internal guidelines and best practices and ensure ongoing data classification management
• Work with business and IT teams during the project lifecycle to deliver high-level solutions within Salesforce for gaps identified by various business units, including providing solutions, config/administration, development, attending project meetings, etc
• Work with various business teams to gather minor requirements/changes needed within the SFDC environment that will improve the overall functionality of the current product
• Work with the Senior Salesforce Analyst to make configuration changes where needed
• Work with the Senior Salesforce Analyst to forward think on changes both in Configuration or the APEX coding that would enhance the overall experience within Salesforce
• Work with the IT Test team as support for testing initiatives during the project lifecycle, release validation, etc.
• Work with the Security Officer to ensure Salesforce environments are in line with Xplore's security policies and those of the industry
• Review related vendor releases for impacts to environments and develop and implement solutions where required
• Coach/mentor the Salesforce Application Support Specialist and IT Application support teams
• Positive attitude, willingness to apply hands on approach
• Experience working as part of an operational team.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of Salesforce/CRMs, Marketing Cloud
• Ability to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Understanding of cloud-based systems
• Excellent understanding of Web applications and API's (SOAP, REST)
• Conscious of security concerns when designing systems
• Salesforce Administrator and Marketing Cloud Administrator certifications (nice to have)
