The Microsoft 365 Analyst is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic guidance for the various workloads, including license management and optimization, in the Microsoft 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies within McCain. They will evaluate and recommend the use of Microsoft products & services within McCain, serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implementation projects, and drive ROI of the Microsoft 365 platform. They will advise business stakeholders in the proper use of Microsoft Products & Services to maximize collaboration and productivity benefits.

1. | Evaluate, develop, and implement enterprise-wide collaboration and productivity solutions based on the Microsoft 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Modern Workplace, Azure) |
2. | Provide SME support to the day-to-day support teams for Microsoft 365 (internal and third party support groups). This SME support function might involve periodic assessments of the support teams and identification of any gaps. |
3. | Seek continuous improvement opportunities for license optimization in environment |
4. | Execute on Microsoft 365 release management activities from the product backlog |
5. | Consult with business and IT groups on various use cases and solutions to business challenges that can be solved with Microsoft 365. Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 workloads for ROI |
6. | Execution of Service Now ITIL requests and tasks for Microsoft 365 related requests or as needed |
Academic:
Must have: | Post Secondary degree or Diploma in a technical program for IT infrastructure management coupled with 2 - 3 years' experience operating in an Enterprise IT environment. College IT Diploma | Nice to have: | Computer Science |
Professional/Technical Accreditations:
Must have: | Prior experience managing Windows PC's and Office 365, preferably capable of attaining Microsoft accreditations
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, or Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals | Nice to have: | Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate, Administrator Expert |
Related Work Experience (Internal to the organization or external):
This position requires 3-4 years' experience in an enterprise end user computing environment upon entry. This includes Service/Incident Management skills for PC's as well as in-depth knowledge of Office 365.
