Senior Software Developer
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for delivering quality products and support services to meet the technical and business requirements of an organization. If you are experience with securely integrating internal and external systems, able to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple project assignments and have strong communication skills, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
- Lead development activities for web/mobile applications for the JD Irving enterprise using full technology stack (C#, Net, Angular and JavaScript)
- Contribute to the designing of custom web and mobile applications working with solution designers
- Participate in on call support for 24 x 7 operations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to enhance our products
- Lead application monitoring and problem management
- Communicate technical status to stakeholders and managing technical development tasks
- Participate in continuous improvements and solution modernization activities
- Lead technology planning of development frameworks and automation of code deployment
- Work in Waterfall/Agile environment and be involved in all technical activities within the team such as estimating, sprint planning, testing, document creation and production support
- Mentoring junior software developers
Qualifications
- University degree, Computer Science is an asset
- 7+ years' experience in a related field
- Advanced competency in programming languages, Microsoft technologies an asset
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- A strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communicator
- Organized with strong time management skills
