Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to define improvement initiatives in alignment with strategic goals and drive sustainable growth.
- Lead process improvement and innovation initiatives to drive improvement in safety, financial performance, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure team success.
- Develop and implement visual controls, standard work procedures, and training content.
- Facilitate interactive and productive meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Support the business in developing key performance indicators and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Stay up to date on modern tools and technologies to drive transformational changes in business.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Process Engineering or Business Administration
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of managing and developing a team.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
- Ability to analyze problems and make recommendations for improvements
- Previous training in Lean, Six Sigma, and project management experience considered an asset
- Working experience in a Quality Management Systems environment would be considered an asset
- Retail/wholesale or service business experience as an asset

Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada's largest heavy-duty truck dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. We are an authorized sales, service, parts and warranty dealership for premium products Freightliner and Western Star Trucks. In addition, we service most makes and models for class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RVs.
