Midland Transport is currently seeking an Integration Specialist - EDI reporting to Customer Technologies Process Lead at the Head Office location. In this role, you would be responsible for developing and managing a customer-facing integration environment that will be performant and highly available across our platforms and applications

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with various teams to understand integration needs and requirements
- Developing integration strategies and solutions to connect different systems and applications
- Designing and implementing middleware, APIs, and other integration tools to facilitate data exchange and communication between systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues and ensuring smooth data flow between systems
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to support integration projects
- Documenting integration processes, configurations, and solutions
- Keeping up to date with emerging integration technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related work experience
- University Degree or Diploma in a related discipline
- Experience with EDI X12 4010 Standards and Transportation Management Systems, together with a thorough understanding of Web Services
- Experience with IBM Gentran, AS400
- A strong understanding of business-to-business integrations
- Knowledge of a transportation industry (Courier, LTL, Truckload)
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Bilingual in both French and English is an asset
