Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
The Application Support Analyst 3 reports to a supervisor/manager, providing tier 2 and 3 technical expertise related to applications and peripheral systems and working with support personnel, vendors and end users to resolve issues, determine root causes, monitor system performance; configure and support system interfaces and manage upgrades and patches. The analyst will ensure data integrity is maintained and create business continuity and disaster recovery plans. As part of change management, the analyst will evaluate and prioritize changes considering the impact and key stakeholder interests using standards and frameworks such as ITIL. The analyst will mentor other team members providing technical guidance, training backup supports, and ensuring documentation and operational procedures are in place. The focus on customer service will be evident in the demonstrated professionalism and diplomacy in client and vendor relationships, and ensure effective long-term operational support.
This role is for the Primary Care/Community Information Systems (PCIS) Office with responsibilities including requirements/specifications included in Manitoba's EMR Certification framework and vendor relationship management for Manitoba Certified EMRs.
