As a Senior Microsoft Teams Phone Consultant at Entergrade, you will guide clients through planning, deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Unified Communications with Microsoft Teams. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, customers, partners, act as a subject matter expert (SME), and provide customer support. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will adapt your style to work with diverse stakeholders across cultures, time zones, and regions. You will navigate complex interactions and foster leadership within both your team and client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all project phases.
  • Partner with technology and design teams to turn strategies into solutions.
  • Create and adapt infrastructure solutions.
  • Define project documentation, including design, build, and operations guides, as well as management processes, procedures, and toolsets.
  • Carry out integration and user testing.
  • Support clients in transforming their technology landscapes.
  • Work with global and offshore teams.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced colleagues, customers and partners.

Who you are:

  • Required: Successful completion of Microsoft MS-700 & MS-721 exams
  • 5-10 years in a Microsoft Unified Communications architecture or engineering role
  • Strong background in engineering and architectural design of Unified Communications with a focus on Microsoft Teams, PSTN configurations, Teams Enterprise Voice, Direct routing, and telephony infrastructure (such as Session Boarder Controllers and Contacts Centers).
  • Understanding of SIP and ability to review traces.
  • Design, planning, and configuration of Microsoft Teams Phone, certified and supported devices.
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Teams calling, conferencing and call quality issues.
  • Migration from traditional conferencing, voice, and telephony systems to Teams and modern platforms.
  • Knowledge of application integration and Contact Centers with Teams.
  • Microsoft 365 core services, including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, voice and telephony, Session Border Controller, dial plans, auto attendant and call queues.
  • Microsoft 365 overall administration.
  • Active Directory/Azure AD/Entra ID concepts and PowerShell/Microsoft Graph scripting skills.
  • Networking (firewall, load balancing, certificates, DNS, etc.).
  • Periodic allocation of additional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issues.
  • Knowledge of solution delivery lifecycle.
  • Proven industry-leading technical expertise of the product(s) and good understanding of the financial aspects of the product(s).
