As a Global Integration Services Engineer, you will spearhead the development of third-party integrations with our flagship imaging software, Enterprise Imaging, utilized in both desktop and web applications. This role requires not only UI design skills but also proficiency with various technologies, including Web APIs and FHIR interfaces.

You will be part of a highly skilled team of integration engineers, collaborating with external partners to define interfaces and create a seamless end-user experience that enhances our product portfolio. You will also work closely with the Agfa R&D teams to ensure our integration framework meets industry standards and effectively supports project requirements. Your expertise will help ensure that all solutions adhere to our design processes, delivered on time and within budget.

The Global Integration Services Engineer will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Consult and Design: Create secure integrations and custom solutions that address customer needs, delivering tangible value and improving operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative Development: Work alongside global development teams and regional cross-functional teams to assess and refine technical designs.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure that custom development projects comply with our established design and development processes.
  • Code Quality: Maintain high coding standards by reviewing code, ensuring excellent quality, and proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Workflow Improvement: Enhance internal design workflows, build infrastructures, and release processes for greater efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QA team to establish effective testing processes and validate system performance.

What you bring to the table:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of required experience programming in languages such as C++, Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Knowledge of web standards, best practices, and integration interfaces.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners to design custom solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern software development tools (e.g., Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube) and web technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (particularly with standards like DICOM, HL7, and IHE) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, as it is the primary language of our team.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
  • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • A quick learner who is a good team player and can work autonomously.
