In our team we are building a managed test service for Store Builders to easily validate their web and mobile features while developing in a federated world. We look across the industry and in the open source community for inspiration to implement solutions that our builders depend on to scale their mobile and web mobile testing.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer Trust team, you will solve challenging technical and business problems and drive the strategy to build a Tier 1 managed services. You will lead operational excellence initiatives to raise the quality bar for the services we operate. You will use your technical skills, leadership, and partnership with stakeholders to design, build, and evolve the systems in this space. You will work closely with business teams, product managers, engineers, and partner teams to create and drive architecture that transforms visionary ideas into products that delight your customers. You have a strong passion for operational excellence and are an expert at balancing the needs of customers and scaling systems. You mentor others and improve the engineering culture of the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $150,700/year up to $251,700/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
