We are looking for an experienced backend engineer who loves technology, can take ownership of the projects, is able to design and implement solutions to complex problems, feels proud of their craft and is excited to be part of a team re-shaping the definition of corporate banking applications. You would be joining a team of engineers who are working on building FISPAN's accounting software integrations and plugins.


Key Responsibilities:


  • 5+ years experience as a software developer.
  • 4+ years working with Java, well-versed with Java 17 and above.
  • 4+ years experience with databases - relational (Postgres) & non-relational (MongoDB).
  • Should have testing experience using Unit/Integration/Performance tests.
  • Should have experience integrating external APIs in an efficient manner.
  • Should have strong knowledge of distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Should have knowledge of modern cloud technologies such as AWS.
  • Should have some knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Nice to have experience working with observability tools like Honeycomb, Datadog, etc.
  • Nice to have experience working with Kotlin (1.8 o superior).
  • Nice to have startup experience.
  • Nice to have experience with Frontend technologies like React/Javascript.
  • Nice to have experience working with ERPs (e.g. Netsuite or Quickbooks Online).

    Compensation and Benefits Package

We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $98,000-$115,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location.As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
