Our Information Technology group has an opportunity based out of one of our corporate offices either: Vancouver or Quesnel BC Canada for a:

SharePoint Application Administrator/ Developer

Reporting to the Manager of IT Collaboration, the SharePoint Application Administrator/Developer will have well-rounded knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint Online architecture, App Development and its integration with M365. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement SharePoint based solutions that enhance collaboration, streamline business processes, and improve productivity.

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint expert to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Apps development using SharePoint Framework (SPFX). This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation enhancements and ensuring an exceptional end-user experience.

You'll do:

  • SharePoint Online Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint Online environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • SPFX Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint Apps using SharePoint Framework (SPFX) to meet business requirements and enhance user productivity.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to integrate SharePoint solutions with other digital tools and platforms, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.
  • User Experience: Focus on improving the end-user experience by developing intuitive, user-friendly SharePoint interfaces and functionalities. Including supporting new initiatives and existing SharePoint platform presence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize SharePoint tools and features.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SharePoint configurations, customizations, and development processes.
  • MS Roadmap: Proactively investigate new feature sets within M365 and SharePoint product offerings for emerging technologies.

You'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Certified in related M365/ SharePoint/ Power Apps area
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint Online, Apps administration and development
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Framework (SPFX).
  • Knowledge and Experience with developer tools like; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft 365 suite and its integration with SharePoint.
  • Experience in SharePoint architecture, content management and taxonomy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation Package:

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The annual salary range is between $90,526-$118,000
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays
  • Defined Contribution Plan with company match component
