We're a Product Management team on a mission to develop an innovative solution that empowers companies globally to simplify, unify, and transform the smart living experience for their customers. We are enabling a Platform as a Service (PaaS) to offer differentiated.

SmartHome products and facilitate rapid scaling. Your expertise in cloud-to-cloud integration partnerships and deep understanding of the smart home market will play a critical role in shaping the future of smart living globally.

What you'll do:

As part of the Product Management team, you will work closely with go-to-market teams, platform development teams, business development teams, legal & procurement, and OEMs to build a catalogue of brand name, world-class devices that TELUS customers can use with Smart Home services.

Specifically, you'll:

• Design a suite of partnership models and value propositions, and map to potential OEM partners
• Establish and manage senior-level relationships with leading-edge partners across multiple industries and geographies
• Understand and help refine business requirements and acceptance criteria definitions intended for technical product managers, engineering teams and for use in any applicable acceptance testing
• Bring stakeholders into alignment on the acceptable boundaries for terms and conditions in standard contracts and agreements
• Review contracts and negotiate agreements with partners and legal teams
• Project management development and enablement of cloud-to-cloud connectors

Qualifications

What you bring:

• Significant years of relevant work experience in building and managing business partnerships and / or vendors in the consumer electronics industry
• Strategic understanding of cloud-to-cloud product integration
• Strong or expert understanding of the consumer electronics industry, with a passion and interest in smart consumer technologies
• Known for your ability to bring projects through to completion
• Exceptional storyteller with the ability to simplify messages to any audience and present complex business cases to senior leadership

Great-to-haves

• Experience working with contracts and legal teams
• Knowledge in one or more of the industries of mobile, internet, home networking or TV services
• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, engineering or computer science or equivalent practical experience; MBA is an asset
