Overview:

Charter is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a 6-month assignment starting March 2025. The ideal resource will have 8+ years of PM experience managing business applications (ie. M365, MS Dynamics, MS Power Apps) and IT infrastructure projects, utilizing industry standard methodologies (ie Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Experience managing full project life cycle, creating project documentation, risk management, and working collaboratively with internal/external teams is required. Experience with COTS systems, custom development, business architecture, and Operations is an asset. Previous experience in Health sector projects would be considered an asset. PMP certification is mandatory. Location: Vancouver BC (Hybrid). Term: Six (6) months. High possibility of extensions. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 8+ years of recent direct Project Management experience in managing IT business applications and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience delivering projects in MS, i.e., M365, Microsoft Dynamics, MS Power Apps.
  • Experience in managing agile projects, hybrid projects and waterfall projects through full project lifecycle.
  • Experience with commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, custom development, business architecture, and operations.
  • Experience in risk management and change management.
  • Experience creating project documents, such as project charter and project management plan, including preparation of briefing documents for the senior leadership.
  • Experience in managing business driven or business transformation projects.
  • Experience in Health sector projects would be considered an asset.
  • Education:
    • Active PMP or PRINCE II certification is mandatory.
    • ITIL, ACP, CSM certification would be a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
