About the role:

As a Data Scientist, you will use your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to help us improve and optimize our SaaS product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to uncover actionable insights, enhance customer experience, and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., product usage, user behavior, customer feedback) to derive actionable insights that inform product development and business strategies.
  • Build and deploy machine learning models to solve key business problems (e.g., churn prediction, user segmentation, recommendation systems).
  • Work with product and engineering teams to design and implement A/B tests, track product performance, and evaluate the impact of product features.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide thought leadership on data best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data for analysis.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define KPIs and metrics to measure the success of SaaS product features and initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize models for accuracy and performance.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably in a SaaS or tech product environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, and experience with data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong experience with SQL and working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and creating meaningful insights for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and experimentation techniques (e.g., A/B testing).
  • Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
