The Opportunity
As a part of the Research and Analytics team, the position will exercise leadership through data science to effect positive change to the organization and stakeholders alike. Responsible for analyzing safety data and developing and implementing machine learning (ML) algorithms to guide the inspection process, certificate and education process as well as audit and compliance and enforcement activities. In addition, apply Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Knowledge Graph (KG) to develop and implement innovative solutions to facilitate business transformation. The long-term vision is to leverage artificial intelligence technologies to gain a strong understanding of clients regarding their safety and business profile, use that information to make smarter safety oversight and business decisions, and help improve safety of all stakeholders in BC.
Status: Casual, Full-Time, Union (6-Month Term)

Pay Grade: 18 ($58.32 per hour, 40 hours per week)
