As an IT Operations Analyst II you will:

be responsible for providing ongoing support to all employees of Prospera Credit Union. Responsibilities include providing support for all systems and applications, coordinating, and communicating any system outages; providing assistance, and support to all employees within the Business Technology Solutions department.

What you'll do:

  • Act as tier 3 support for banking system infrastructure and is the primary liaison for resolution and closing of server-side issues. Escalates complex issues to vendors and partners
    Resolve IT operation-related incidents, service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner, in line with support SLAs.
  • Maintaining and monitor a variety of mission critical business systems from both an application and database management perspective. The enterprise ecosystem presently includes as its key pieces a core banking client-server system, Leasing System, accounting servers and several data and web service integrations to 3rd party vendors and partners.
  • As necessary, liaise with IT partners to ensure IT application-related incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Undertake IT operations-related problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as appropriate.
  • Prepare and present reports and/or dashboards on system performance and IT operations to management
  • Document issues and maintain accurate system and application documentation. Create and maintain a knowledge repository for issues and resolutions. Proactively offers suggestions or potential solutions to automate and streamline existing processes: improve IT Operations and reduce downtime, contribute and keep abreast of new processes, trends and technology.

What you bring:

  • Expert knowledge, understanding and experience with: Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Microsoft SQL server, Vinzant Global Event Control Server (GECS), Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager, SolarWinds and/or Azure Monitor.
  • Expert knowledge, understanding and experience with server and database administration, updates and vulnerability management and operations monitoring.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), PowerShell and batch scripting
  • Expert knowledge and experience with DevOps practices, tools and DevOps pipelines with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Teams Foundation Server
  • Strong understanding of programming practices and the role of operations in software development lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge, understanding and experience with the WealthView Banking platform and its ecosystem, procedures and operations processing as it relates to providing timely support, information and reporting
  • Strong knowledge related to infrastructure, hardware and the use of a mix of standard servers and virtual machines to host applications and databases.
  • Strong ability to perform diagnostic testing and information gathering to troubleshoot technical or procedural issues.

What We Offer:

Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting salary for this role is $68,400 (80%) to $76,000 (100%) based on the successful candidate's knowledge, experience and internal equity.
