Job Summary | The College of New Caledonia requires an Instructor to teach in the Information Technology and Networking program. Responsibilities will include the development and delivery of courses and laboratory activities, conducting student evaluations, maintaining current technical competencies and other tasks as required for college operations. |
Skills & Qualifications | • An IT related degree or diploma and 5 years of computer industry experience or equivalent • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred • CWNP Certified Wireless Network Professional credential or equivalent is preferred • Cisco certification preferred • Microsoft Certified Professional credential preferred • Linux Certification or experience preferred • Provincial Instructor diploma or 2 years teaching experience preferred • Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for trouble shooting and problem solving • A combination of qualifications and experience may be considered You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues. You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities. Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question. |
