Fortinet is hiring a Senior DevOps Developer to contribute to successful delivery of FortiCare/FortiCloud services to its global audiences
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Confluence Kafka cluster in development, staging and production environment.
• Monitor server status and application logs on production environments.
• Take ownership where necessary to troubleshoot and resolve failures in the Dev, Test and Production environment, and work closely with development and QA teams to drive resolution.
• Plan and execute deployment on production servers in after-hours.
• 24x7 on-call for emergency.
Skills & Requirements:
• Hands-on experience in building, deploying and trouble shoot multi-nodes Kafka clusters
• Expert of Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) , Bash, Java
• Experience in ElasticSearch, Graylog
• Experience in CI tools like Jenkins, Gitlab
• Experience with source code management tools such as SVN, Git, Gitlab
• Excellent knowledge of HTTPS (certificates, TLS, Ciphers etc.)
• Experience in certificate management
• Experience with VM environment
• Experience in a 24×7 production environment delivering high availability or mission-critical applications; available for on-call
Big Plus:
• Experience with InfoSec compliance, e.g. SOX, SOC2
• Experience with Windows, ASP.Net, IIS, AngularJS
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and DBA role using SSMS
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $90,000 - $135,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
