Leads successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex HVAC / BMS equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job location will be in Campbell River and Courtenay, BC
  • Perform day to day Preventive Maintenance on the BMS/DDC system
  • Perform Trouble shooting of the BMS/DDC system, require understanding of the HVAC system
  • Replace or Upgrade of existing BMS system. Including actuators, sensors, controllers, etc.
  • Work with Energy Engineer to tune the BMS control sequence periodically
  • Work with Site Electrician and Facility Technicians on daily calls
  • Provide report of System Health and Lifecycle Management of BMS system to Facility Manager

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, peripheral equipment installation and servicing technique
  • 3+ years of experience in BMS/DDC system
  • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field is Preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000- $85,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
