Full Stack c/c++ Developer (Fortindr)

FortiNDR (Network Detection Response) is our innovative product that utilizes advanced machine learning technology for sophisticated malware detection, intrusion detection, and network anomaly identification. We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Full Stack Developer with a strong passion for both frontend and backend development. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and security of our product.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development: Work on front-end GUI development using JavaScript and backend systems programming using C/C++, focusing on enhancing threat investigation and virtual analyst functionalities.
• Problem Identification: Proactively identify and address issues in both frontend and backend codebases, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that new features do not introduce regressions by integrating and improving automated testing practices within the development process.

Skills Required:

• Frontend Expertise: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Backend Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of C or C++ for robust backend development.
• Unix/Linux Experience: Extensive experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Network Security: Comprehensive understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and network architecture.
• Security Knowledge: Strong foundation in security principles, including cryptography and encryption techniques.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, under pressure.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
