You as a Quality Lead will:

  • Develop, oversee, and evaluate Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP) as well as Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)
  • Perform audits and subsequently address identified action items
  • Review and interpret contracts, specifications, drawings, and provide concise comments
  • Escalate issues with the quality program
  • Foster innovations and implement them into the quality program
  • Ability to assist project staff on multiple projects
  • Plan and coordinate quality-related activities
  • Be capable of independently organizing and leading meetings
  • Support in the training and assistance of colleagues
  • Evaluate employee performance either through informal assessments or during formal review sessions
  • Manage and maintain the relationship with clients
  • Clearly communicate information about the quality program in various situations
  • Maintain ownership of the quality program when dealing with the client
  • Independently lead both internal and external meetings
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of construction operations
  • Previous experience with Building Commissioning and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals development and review is considered and asset

Is this the right role for you?

  • Ability to champion and lead the effective implementation of operational best practices, project quality plans, risk management strategies, and quality assurance/control activities
  • Minimum 2-7 years of experience in the construction industry (preferably ICI), and familiarity with quality management systems and practices
  • You are a self-directed, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • This role is located in Cold Lake, AB and will require Secret Clearance
