Job Description
Our Infrastructure Design & Operations team in our IT Division is looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven, resourceful individual to join our team in a full time Systems Administrator role.
The System Administrator will be involved in multiple aspects of operational support and projects for the AESO server environments. This will include resolving infrastructure issues, troubleshooting virtual environments, and creating technical documentation.

Accountabilities include:
Monitor infrastructure including CPU, disk and memory usage across hosts and VMs.
Build virtual servers to specifications, maintain standards.
System tuning and configuration management.
Keep inventories and documentation up to date.
Follow change control and incident management processes.
TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting
Support DNS, Time, DHCP, Anti-virus, Active Directory.
Microsoft Terminal server maintenance.
Maintain security and reliability of AESO systems.
Follow AESO Regulation (Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP))
Basic software development using Powershell.
Troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
Manage Infrastructure Operations Ticket Queue using Service Now.
You have:
Completion of two-year diploma or equivalent.
Windows/VMWare
3 - 6 years IT experience in an enterprise environment managing Windows/Unix Servers.
Working level understanding of HP Infrastructure hardware.
Working knowledge of VMware Virtual Infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN).
Proficiency with VMware Cloud Foundation.
Basic proficiency with Vmware Aria Suite (vROPS, vRLI, Replication).
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Configuration Manager, RSA SecurID, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.
Experience with Operating System patch management tools (Ivanti, MS Configuration Manager).
Storage
1 - 3 years of experience with Storage environments (Netapp, True NAS, and vSAN).
Understanding of backup Software and methodologies (Veeam / Networker).
Knowledge of Netapp replication technologies.
Experience and/or knowledge of SAN Brocade switches.
Experience and/or knowledge of CIFS Shares.
Physical Datacenter experience (Server racking, disk replacement, etc.).
