As a Systems Administrator 2, you will be part of a team directly responsible for the operations and maintenance of the City of Calgary's Storage and Server infrastructure. Reporting to the Leader Information Technology in the Operations Division of Information Technology (IT) you play a pivotal role in providing technical support in a 24X7 on-call shift support environment. Compensation: Pay Grade 12 $47.01 - 62.84 per hour (2025 Rates)
Out-of-Schedule Rates: $58.40 - 70.95 per hour (2025 Rates).
This position is presently paid at an Out-of-Schedule rate
to reflect current market conditions. Should market conditions
change, the salary may be reviewed and may revert to the
base rate.
Days of Work: This position typically works a
5 day work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
