Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. As a Senior Analyst on this team, you will be supporting the various technology systems that are key to delivering value to WestJet. You will contribute within an operational pod and will administer, implement key improvements, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within the stack and play a key role in change, incident, and release management for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for ForgeRock/Ping Access Management, including installation, configuration, and ongoing management.
  • Implement OIDC (OpenID Connect) protocols and integrate MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) solutions within applications.
  • Manage LDAP directories, including user access controls and schema modifications.
  • Administer IBM Security Verify Governance and integrate it with existing systems.
  • Apply DevOps principles and methodologies, particularly in CI/CD, while utilizing Azure DevOps for application management.
  • Perform Linux system administration, including but not limited to patch management.
  • Use Splunk for log management and monitoring, creating alerts and dashboards, and analyzing log data for security optimization.
  • Leverage ServiceNow for incident management and change control, managing ITSM processes effectively.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and manage remediation strategies using vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman and ensure efficient integration of RESTful services.
  • Understand overall architecture of technology supported and how to identify and troubleshoot challenges within, providing insights and expertise where required.
  • Knowledge management input and maintenance, development of support runbooks and transition to operation process.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.

Technical Skills

  • ForgeRock Access Management: Proficient in installation, configuration, and support.
  • OIDC and MFA: Experienced in implementing protocols and solutions related to identity federation and SSO.
  • LDAP: Knowledgeable in managing directories and user access.
  • IBM Security Verify Governance: Experienced in identity lifecycle and user provisioning workflows.
  • DevOps and Azure DevOps: Understanding of CI/CD processes and management of applications.
  • Linux Support: Proficient in system administration and shell scripting.
  • Splunk: Experienced in log management and performance optimization.
  • ServiceNow: Familiar with incident management and ITSM processes.
  • Security Vulnerabilities Remediation: Understanding of best practices and remediation strategies.
  • Postman: Proficient in API testing and integration.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills conducive to team collaboration.
  • Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn related technology and business process.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical Field.
  • 6+ years in relevant technical area.
