This provides flexibility the remaining 40% of the work week. This hybrid work plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues. Overview of role:

We are seeking a Senior AEM QA Automation Analyst to be an active member of our Digital product development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital products with a focus on AEM (Adobe Experience Manage). This role will lead the test automation initiatives to help accelerate delivery timelines, reduce manual testing efforts, and improve overall software quality. The responsibilities will include supporting various projects through test automation scripting, code reviews, framework and tool onboarding, and CI/CD pipeline automation.

This position requires an energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn, mentor, and contribute to a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others are essential.

Key deliverables include:

• Review AEM Test Automation candidates to understand scope, feasibility and raise potential scripting concerns.
• Design and implement automated tests, including defining methods, steps, test data, compatibility, classes, page objects, and more
• Developed and executed automated test scripts for different layers of the application, including UI, API, and integration testing.
• Ensure the reliability and stability of automated test scripts through comprehensive testing and quality checks prior to deployment.
• Produce necessary documentation and ensure code is readable with adequate commenting.
• Perform code reviews of UI and API automated tests and suites.
• Provide ongoing support to the AEM team, solving roadblocks and offering solutions to automation-related challenges.
• Set up and maintained Test Automation execution infrastructure and pipelines.
• Monitor test automation results to identify scripts that need revisiting for reliability and optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in test automation best practices, coding standards, and technical troubleshooting.
• Improve logging/debugging of scripts to ensure failures are quick to analyze root cause.
• Test Tool management and administration support for Tests Analysts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and automation strategies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and make recommendations for their adoption as appropriate.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 10+ years professional experience in a technical role.
• 5+ years' experience implementing UI test automation scripts, frameworks, and tools, such as Gauge, Cucumber, Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium or Flutter Driver.
• 5+ years' experience implementing API test automation scripts.
• Experience testing Adobe AEM is a strong asset
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or Javascript for test automation scripting.
• Proficiency in API test automation frameworks and tools, such as Postman, Rest-assured, or SoapUI.
• Deep understanding of software testing types, including unit, integration, regression, functional, and performance testing.
• Strong analytical skills to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues in a complex software environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical people.
• Experience in assessing test automation needs, recommending solutions, and providing guidance to teams.
