This position will primarily be focused on the feature delivery of Honeywell's UniSim Design offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of all approved solutions development projects.
  • Collaborate on the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of key programs.
  • Drive the adoption of technology platforms and design principles.
  • Generate robust, secure, and quality software code that fulfills the requirements of the product.
  • Guide and mentor junior members of the development team.
  • Understand business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Participate in Agile, Scrum or hybrid development methodology, collaborating with other developers on the team.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Perform unit testing.
  • Work with product and offering owners to create user stories.
  • Design and develop complex solutions.
  • Apply and share the best practices with team and broader organization.
  • Integrate automation platforms.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • Working experience with C++, C#, and VB.Net

WE VALUE

  • Knowledge of Process Simulation systems.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas/Refining/Chemicals domain
  • Working experience with Python
  • Experience executing Agile software methodology.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development
  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
  • Make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
  • Convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
  • Analytical influencer with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
