About the Role

Reporting to the Mechanical & Electrical Director, the Information Management & Information Technology Manager is responsible for providing process, planning, preparation, and negotiation of all IMIT areas of the project lifecycle.

This position can be based in either Calgary, AB or Vancouver, BC.

As a Information Management & Information Technology Manager at Graham you will:

  • Assist with bid preparation, bid closing and attend interviews
  • Work closely with the Project's management team to ensure feasibility and costing of project's Information Management & Information Technology scope according to budget and output specifications.
  • Assist in preparation and negotiation of Information Management & Information Technology design services agreements and subcontracts
  • Lead value engineering & opportunity processes pertaining to Information Management & Information Technology and low voltage building systems.
  • Project manage the design, procurement, implementation and commissioning of Information Management & Information Technology & low voltage building systems including, Structured cabling, Converged networks, Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Panic/Duress, RTLS, Audio Visual and Nurse Call.
  • Manage multiple projects across the entire project lifecycle including financial planning, budgets, change orders, product specifications, project planning, procurement decisions, implementation, integration, quality assurance, training and deployment.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure project implementation is compliant to the output specifications and executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage relationships with all project partners and the client to bring forward innovative solutions that achieve compliance within the project budget.
  • Responsible to communicate the technical aspects and regular site activities of the project with relevant stakeholders’ to effectively update and act on pertinent information

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Having an Engineering Degree, PMP or BICSI RCDD Certification would be advantageous
  • Design-Build experience on complex healthcare projects would be an asset
  • Detailed knowledge of building systems integration and enterprise infrastructure in corporate and Healthcare and Commercial environments
  • Experience in construction

  • $143,600 – 180,000 per annum
  • Salary will commensurate with education and experience
