ERP Administrator

At SMS Equipment, our ERP Administrators are responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the ERP at SMS Equipment. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working with systems, has great customer service and loves working in a team. This role is in Acheson, AB.

This position offers a hybrid work environment.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Configure and maintain business application environments, work with batch scripts, vendor enhancements and patches. Assist in development of SQL Queries and SQL performance monitoring. Develop business and systems processes to efficiently align IT systems with business requirements.
• Develop technical business processes, end user documentation, and system processes. Analyze business issues and make recommendations to decrease incidents. Confer with end-users, clients, management or vendors /OEM to define business requirements.

• Maintain new and existing business systems. Provide 3^rd level user support, participate in afterhours maintenance as required.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a university degree or college diploma in a related field and have a minimum of 3 years supporting an ERP. A combination of education and experience may also be considered. Other requirements include:

• Proven experience working with SQL Server or relational databases including writing complex queries and creating stored procedures.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new systems as required.
• Self motivated and able to perform duties with a high level of accuracy
• Good time management skills and ability to work to own initiative and priorities workload.
• Written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Experience supporting Web Services/ XML, XSD, SOAP/REST technologies preferred.
• Experience supporting applications built in ASP.NET, C#.NET, VB.NET, Java, and Apache preferred.
• Windows PowerShell scripting would be an asset.
