Synopsis of the role
As a Senior Manager, FP&A at Equifax Canada, you will lead the expense forecasting and reporting team and be primarily responsible for providing proactive, insightful financial analysis to enable the business to reach its short- and long-term strategic and financial objectives. The Senior Manager will manage a team of 3 and will initially report to the CFO, Equifax Canada. You will often partner
with senior management and Canadian Leadership Team (CLT) to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner to foster effective decision making. You will build, manage and report on expense budget and forecasts for each CLT member including Technology, Operations, Product and Sales.
The Senior Manager will also drive value-added FP&A activities, and work with various areas of the business to prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts and monthly reporting including summarizing the budget and preparing presentations. You will analyze business results and trends and prepare a myriad of reports and synopsis of the business results for reporting to the business and management.
What You'll Do:

Prepare, develop, consolidate and manage the annual budget, monthly forecast and reporting including a 3-5 year plan identifying opportunities to enhance financial outlooks, and other financial analysis tasks and projects.

Present financial results to CLT and Corporate Finance teams at Equifax Inc.

Analysis and reporting on several expense streams, including project costs, preparation and timely completion of monthly forecasts and month end results reporting/analysis

Analysis of month end expense results, including analyzing functional activity and consulting with leaders and business partners, and preparing insightful commentary on monthly results.

Preparation of various monthly reports and dashboard schedules using Tableau or other Power BI tools

Develop business cases along with the business case sponsor and various business areas to assess investment recommendations and NPV analysis

Work collaboratively with other FP&A team members and accounting teams to ensure financial results are in conformity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Regular and ad hoc analysis of expense pools, deep dive analysis and preparation of various reports to management and CLT

Continuously improve the financial processes to gain efficiencies and identify areas of productivity through automation and utilization of BI tools and provide strategic analytical information to the management team helping the company retain its leadership position in the industry.
What experience you need :

Leadership and experience in leading teams and managing executive level business partners and stakeholders

7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting

Proficient with financial concepts and financial reporting tools such as Hyperion Essbase and/or OBI (Business Intelligence Objects) with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Experience in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc preferred

Bachelor's degree from accredited University with a focus on Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline is essential
